SCALE Foundation
Program Launch
SCALE Foundation inaugurated its 1st “SCALE Centre”-Community Learning Centre with participation from local leaders, stakeholders, and community members. The program showcased the Foundation’s vision for education, health, and youth development and marked the beginning of several community-oriented initiatives.
Job Mela
A special Job Drive was organized to connect youth with employment opportunities. Over 50 candidates participated, and several companies from diverse sectors offered on-the-spot interviews and shortlisting.
Counselling Session with School Children
A counselling session conducted at one of our local school – PMC School 1G Marathi to address emotional, academic, and social challenges. Key themes included mental health awareness, exam stress, time management, and goal setting. Over 30 students benefited.
Parents Meeting
Parents of school-going children were engaged in meetings focusing on child development, educational support at home, and the importance of attendance and hygiene. The interactive format encouraged open dialogue between parents and educators.
World Water Day
On the occasion of World water day we organized several competitions for children, Total 35 Children participated in the competitions

- Drawing
- Poster Making
Winning entries were displayed during community events and exhibitions, and awarded with educational gifts.
Summer Camp at School and Community
An enriching Summer Camp was held both at school premises and community spaces to engage children productively during vacation.
Activities Included:
- Drawing Competition: Focused on environmental and cultural themes.
- Fun Activities: Games, storytelling, team-building activities to promote social bonding.
- Movie Screening – “Chhava”: A special screening of the motivational Marathi film Chhava was organized to build historical awareness and pride.
Session on Menstrual Hygiene
Awareness sessions were conducted for adolescent girls, and Women to promote menstrual health and break myths. These sessions created a safe space for discussions and addressed hygiene practices and product choices.
Oral Hygiene Kit Distribution
Oral hygiene kits were distributed to school children, along with demonstrations on proper brushing techniques and the importance of daily dental care. Over 30 children received kits and guidance.
Internship Program – COEP College
Two interns from College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) joined SCALE Foundation for a hands-on community learning experience. They conducted academic support sessions at the Study Centre, focusing on subjects like Math and English for underprivileged children. Their contribution enhanced the learning environment and created relatable role models for the children.
